An exclusive group tour of Foulis Castle, the private family home of the Chiefs of the Clan Munro (Monroe) for over 700 years, conducted by Hector Munro of Foulis, 33rd hereditary Clan Chief of the Munros, his mother Mrs Eleanor Munro of Foulis or a member of the family.

But its main attraction to most visitors is that it is a real home, not a museum. Outside there are fine courtyard gardens and Highland Cattle grazing in the park. Although not hitherto open to the general public, it has very successfully hosted a number of exclusive groups from cruise ships over the past 5 years.

A highlight at the end of the tour will either be afternoon tea, morning coffee and home baking or a glass of champagne/whisky (depending on the time of day) taken with The Chief and or his mother, Mrs Eleanor Munro of Foulis, in the Castle dining room surrounded by portraits of their ancestors. The Chief is a renowned grower of malt barley the essential ingredient of Scotland's famous Malt Whiskies and his mother an expert gardener.

Prices

Tour of Foulis Castle and gardens with the Clan Chief and his mother lasting about one and a half hours, including morning coffee/afternoon tea will be £17.50 per person with a minimum group charge of £350.
